Mould Shaping & Grinding
When the design work was finished, the engineer began to spec the materials needed to make the mold. These materials are selected based on the part to be manufactured and the usage of the mold. The poultry shackle was made of polyethylene, a non-abrasive material. By contrast, a part we manufacture out of a fiberglass-filled plastic for an agriculture client requires a heavier-duty, more wear-resistant steel for the mold because over time fiberglass wears away steel. Our Injection mold maker evaluates and studies the drawings, and orders mold materials if there is no objection, otherwise, communicate with the plastic injection mold designers.
Injection mold makers inspect the mold materials in time after the materials arrive at the factory, and arrange technicians to do locksmith works, including turning, grinding, milling, screw holes, water carrying hole, center hole, CNC roughing, etc. The technicians should pay attention to the precision of each right-angle side, avoid emptying the center hole and each production base, roughing margin etc. Then outsource each mold part to heat treatment promptly. Our expert engineers process the mould using our latest machinery.
- Standard Shaping Machine
- Hydraulic Shaper Machine
- Universal Shaping Machine
- Surface Grinder
- Cylindrical Grinder
- Universal Grinder

As soon as the materials arrived, we were ready to build the mold. We used our computer-aided design program to write the code that instructs the equipment on how to cut the steel to create the pieces used in the mold.
